The history of PT. Rahmi Ida Nusantara, can not be separated from the history of PT. Dhemar Nusantara which is a national private company that was founded in 1994. In 1987, started from a request of a distributor company of electrical equipment, namely Guna Elektro which ordered some electrical equipment such as junction boxes.
This business is conducted at home using simple equipment/machinery, supported by some labor and serve only small quantities order beside done at home, the process is also done at the workshop – “Bintang Timur” tahu plant located in Gubug – Purwodadi.
These electrical equipment manufacturing jobs is a sideline activity in the workshop. In 1997, the factory moved to Jl Merak No.. 2 Semarang 50174, Central Java, which serves as a factory and headquarters. While for marketing the products, appointed marketing office which located at Jl. Mangga No. 24 Kepa Duri E/136 Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta.
Next in June 2000 PT. Dhemar Nusantara opened a marketing office in the Plaza Surabaya Blok C, No. 7 fl. 3-4, Jl. Pemuda 33-37, Surabaya. In March of 2001 PT. Dhemar Nusantara using a new factory and offices in Terboyo Industrial Park #M111, Semarang, telephone (62-24) 6590555 and fax (62-24) 6590565.
In order to market established PT. Rahmi Ida Nusantara, which has its headquarters on Jl. MH. Thamrin Plaza Amsterdam B50 Sentul City, Bogor 16810, and also has opened a branch office on Jl. Jemur Andayani No. 50, Suryainti Permata #E 36-37 Surabaya 60237 and abroad in Singapore, which is located at 47 Beach Road #02-03 Kheng Chiu Building Singapore 189683, which more expanding the existing market network.
In further growths, in 2009, PT. Dhemar Nusantara and PT. Rahmi Ida Nusantara merged with the name of PT. Rahmi Ida Nusantara which is followed by the turn of the company logo.
PT. Rahmi Ida Nusantara has a trademark "ELPRO" for domestic marketing and use the trademarks "ELPROSTEEL" for marketing overseas such as Australia, Singapore, etc. The product of PT. Rahmi Ida Nusantara has reached the region of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, and Ambon which will continue to be expanded to other areas.
